Pluot Purple Candy Out Of Stock – Pluots are a cross between a Plum and an Apricot with a Plum being the dominant cross. The pluot is a very original variety and a result of a cross between an apricot and a plum. The fruit is as big as a peach and gets its taste rather on the side of apricot while its juicy texture comes from the plum. The variety takes its name from its dark skin, between purple and violet, and has very sweet flesh. These are large fruit with yellow flesh of excellent flavour.

I ordered a Pluot together with several other fruit trees which I received in Jersey yesterday lunchtime - just two days door-to-door. All well-packed and in excellent condition. Blackmoor certainly provides a service second to none.

Delivered in autumn 2013 in perfect condition, my pluot has managed to carry a few of its leaves through the mild winter. Planted in a large container, I look forward to watching it develop through 2014 and beyond. Cannot wait to try the fruit!

Initial review on receipt, quick delivery, very well packaged, tree good size and well shaped. Much better condition overall than I've found generally at garden centres, prices very good value but especially for this item, being unusual, excellent.
