Ordering and delivery
Orders placed up until 12.00 mid-day on a Thursday are normally despatched the same week. If there is a delivery day you have in mind please add this into the comment box at the checkout when placing your order.
If you would like to collect your trees then please place your order through the website and select the collection option at the checkout. Note the collection is from the Wholesale Nursery office between Monday-Friday only. Please allow 1 working days for your order to be processed prior to collection date. Directions can be found here
Please remember except for the collection area and Nursery Office, the Nursery and the other sites are production facilities and are not arranged for the convenience of visitors. For example on each site there are moving vehicles, hazardous machinery and equipment, substances hazardous to health and some surfaces unsuitable for some footwear. The risk from these hazards is, of course, controlled but visitors who are not familiar with the work environment may be at greater risk than operators and other staff who are.
And so during your visit we politely ask you to comply with the following rules, both for your own safety and for other business reasons:-
1. All visitors must report to the Main Office at Blackmoor Nursery on arrival. If travelling by car please park in the visitors parking area.
2. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
The delivery charge is worked out from the weight and the size of the plant. We have several rates that apply to UK mainland addresses (Some Scottish postcodes are more than this). A delivery charge of £8.50 is for all single tree orders. £10.00 if more than one tree. £15.00-£25.00 charge for larger orders except in the case of the Espalier Fans and Step Over trained trees where this charge is a maximum of £40.00.
The lower postal rates range from £2.80 - £5.70, will be applied to smaller orders of the lighter plants like currants, raspberries, gooseberries, blackberries, asparagus and strawberries although this does depend on the quantity you order. Once you have put together your order the delivery charge will show before payment. All orders are despatched in one delivery. If your order contains both bare root and container grown plants then we can only despatch when all plants are ready.
Courier rates of £18.00 - £75.00 will be charged for deliveries to KW IV AB PH KW HS ZE IM BT DD JE GY PO30 PO31 PO32 PO33 PO34 PO35 PO36 PO37 PO38 PO39 PO40 PO41 Postcodes. The delivery charge is worked out on the size and weight of the items you are ordering and will show at the checkout. We are sorry but some of our larger tree items, there may not be a delivery option for these locations.
All orders are despatched in one delivery. If your order contains both bare root and container grown plants then we can only despatch the whole order when all plants are ready.
If you change your email address at any time please change your details on your account.
To take advantage of a promotional code or gift voucher this must be entered into the redeem code box at the checkout. Discounts cannot be given once an order is completed and any codes have not been used.

Loyalty reward points are worth 2% of purchases, plus you get various other sorts of rewards. 1 point is £0.01 (Account Holders Only) Loyalty points are not awarded when checking out as a guest.

The points on offer will change, for instance when we launch a product we may raise the value of reviewing it. Points only become available in your account after a certain period, for purchase points it happens automatically when an order is shipped out, with reviews they are reviewed by admin, to make sure they are not gibberish and are relevant.
Once the points are validated they are available in your account to spend. On your checkout page you can enter the amount of points you wish to use against the order. You need to have an account with us for points to be registered.
The points have an expiry period of 12 months.
Your guarantee of quality.
We supply the highest quality trees and plants and pack them with great care. In the unlikely event that you are not satisfied or damage occurs in transit, please contact us within 2 days of receipt.
We will also replace any trees or plants that die in the first spring after they have been supplied as long as we are satisfied that they have been treated and planted properly. This guarantee does not include any plants damaged due to lack of watering or lack of proper horticultural care on your part. In particular, plants will not be replaced if the plant care guidelines, sent out with the order, have not been followed. We cannot be responsible for any airborne pests and diseases that are out of our control.
If you have a claim we ask that you send us good quality photographs of the dead plants in the ground - at least one close-up of the dead plants themselves, showing the leaves, stems and where they go into the soil. At least one broader shots of the planting area, showing all of the dead plants.
We will use these photographs to help work out what went wrong, so we can advise if appropriate to ensure that your replacements don't die too!
Orders are taken on the understanding that we charge your account at the time when the order is taken even though it may not be possible to supply the order until a later date. You can cancel your order at any time and you are entitled to a full refund.
All deliveries are made with an overnight courier. If someone is at the delivery address during the day it helps. All bare root plants are despatched from November to April and are subject to rigorous quality tests at every stage of growth and from lifting to packing. Roots are soaked and covered before shipping which means that each plant reaches you in prime condition for growing away in the spring. Plants are packed in a strong cardboard box and shipped by overnight courier.
