Dessert Apple - Found in the garden of The Hall, Tolleshunt D'Arcy, Essex around 1785. May also be known as Baddow Pippin. Late keeping apple. Primarily a garden variety. Very well known in East Anglia. Ground colour bright green, becoming greenish to yellow. A few fruits have trace of reddish to brown flush. The fruits are medium size with a characteristic aromatic flavour. Tough skinned russet but can keep until April. Picking time early October. Pollination group 4. This variety produces a very small tree.

Good website and excellent communication . The apple tree (Arthur Turner M26) arrived well packaged and the tree was very healthy. Top quality all round. Have had bad experience with other online suppliers in the past so will be using Blackmoor again.
