Nursery Sales & Marketing Administrator
Blackmoor Nurseries, Blackmoor Estate
Blackmoor Nurseries is looking for a highly organised, proactive, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Sales & Marketing Administrator. This is a varied and rewarding role combining sales administration, customer service and marketing support.
You will play a key part in enhancing the customer experience, driving sales growth and supporting the wider Blackmoor Estate through collaboration with the farm shop and events programme.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Service
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries (phone, email, online)
- Process and manage all sales orders (website and direct)
- Prepare dispatch documentation, including consignment notes
- Maintain clear communication with customers regarding orders and delivery
Administration
- Maintain accurate customer records and databases
- Support invoicing, record keeping, and general office administration
- Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the nursery office
- Monitor sales performance and provide reports to management
Marketing & Digital Support
- Assist with marketing campaigns and initiatives
- Update website content (stock availability, product information)
- Support social media activity and engagement
- Contribute to SEO and digital optimisation (with external partners)
- Identify opportunities to increase sales and customer reach
Wider Estate Collaboration
- Work closely with teams across Blackmoor Estate to support cross-selling
- Contribute ideas to maximise sales across the shop, taproom, and events
- Assist with key on farm events
Seasonal Support
- Support the nursery team with practical outdoor tasks when required.
- During quieter periods, potentially assist elsewhere on the estate

Person Specification
Essential:
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills
- Strong IT skills (including spreadsheets and word processing)
- Confident and professional communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage workload independently
- Customer-focused with a positive, can-do attitude
Desirable:
- Experience in sales and/or marketing
- Knowledge of social media and digital marketing
- Interest in horticulture or willingness to learn
- Experience with databases or e-commerce systems

Working Hours
- 35 hours per week
- Monday–Friday, with some flexibility on start and finish times
- Seasonal flexibility required for evenings and weekend events
