A guide to choosing the right size
All trees can vary slightly in size slightly and we would not recommend putting up the wire supports until the trees arrive.
Pollination Made Simple.
Most suburban situations provide good pollen due to the close proximity of other gardens. It is not always necessary to have pollinators if the bees and other pollinating insects are generous with their visits. If you have no other Apple tree close by then select two varieties in the same group or the adjoining group ie group 2 and 4 will pollinate group 3 as will any others in group 3. Some varieties are self fertile.

Apple 2 Tier Espalier (Eating)
Trained Fruit Trees | Two Tier Espaliers Apple Trees For Sale
The term espalier refers to the way fruit trees are trained to grow against a wall. It makes the tree easier to prune and the fruit easier to pick. This decorative method was often used in traditional walled kitchen gardens and is perfectly suited to growing fruit in the smaller garden. The advantage is that you can also buy a ready-trained tree. Perfect for the small garden, an espalier tree has branches trained horizontally on either side of the stem to make a compact, but productive tree.
Planting Guide - MM106 is most suitable for small apple trees with three or four tiers but M26 can also be used if space is limited.
Trees should be planted 3.5m-6m (12-20ft) apart, according to their vigour.

10 out of 10 Blackmoor - my Apple Saturn - 2 Tier Espalier arrived looking really healthy and securely wrapped , it is now safely planted up this past 2 weeks and seems really happy in it's location, the buds are starting show signs of life, I have been out and wrapped it in fleece today as a precaution as we have had some unexpected snowfall so didn't want to take any chances. I would certainly recommend using the Rootgrow product when planting and would certainly recommend Blackmoor Nurseries as a supplier of healthy trees and shrubs.

Thank you for a beautiful quality tree. We bought espaliers from several suppliers including yourselves two years ago and we have been impressed by the quality (depressed by the quality of some of the other companies trees too) so we bought another to replace one of the spindly things from elsewhere that has failed to grow much at all. The tree we received today is lovely and big, really good quality....as soon as I saw it I knew my OH would be delighted and wanting to order more and I was right.

Just ordered an espalier apple tree which arrived within 48 hours, very professionally packed and superb quality. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending or using the services of Blackmoor in the future.
