Kiwi Berry Actinidia arguta Issai - A compact kiwi variety, 'Issai' produces small, smooth-skinned fruits from late summer to early autumn. It is self-fertile, so it does not require another plant for pollination and typically reaches about 3-4 metres tall. Unlike other kiwis, 'Issai' is famous for producing abundant harvests of nearly hairless, sweet fruits. As a hardy and vigorous self-fertile climber, it's ideal for smaller gardens with limited space for just one plant. The plant features attractive mid-green leaves and clusters of fragrant, cup-shaped white flowers that bloom in summer. Its delicious oval fruit is ready to pick in September.
