Fruit trees for sale | Mulberry Trees.
Blackmoor Nursery is one of very few Nurseries in the UK offering gardeners the opportunity to buy Mulberry fruit trees direct from our Nursery.
Originally from West Asia, this species is said to have been in Britain since the sixteenth century.
The place for a Mulberry tree is in a large lawn where its gnarled branches and stately head can be admired.
5.5 or 12 Litre = Container grown and can be planted all year round. The size refers to the number of litres of compost that the container holds.
All orders are despatched in one delivery. If your order contains both bare root and container grown plants then we can only despatch when all plants are ready.
The trees are hardy and generally easy to grow but require a sunny, and ideally a well drained position with a deep loam soil.
They will not thrive on shallow soils. Raspberry like fruits with a sweetish but tart flavour. Eat fresh or use for making jam, jellies or wine.
Collection - If you would like to collect your trees then use this option. Note the collection is from the Wholesale Nursery office between Monday-Friday only. Please allow 1 working days for your order to be processed prior to collection date.
We are not a Garden Centre or retail Nursery. Orders can be placed via our website and the collection option can be selected at the checkout. Your order will then be ready for you to collect during our normal opening hours which are Monday-Friday 07.30-16.30. Our plants are grown in fields that can be 2 miles away from our office so it is not possible to just turn up and select your own trees.
Delivery Charges - The delivery charge is worked out from the weight and the size of the plant. We have several rates that apply to UK mainland addresses. A delivery charge of £8.95 is for all single tree orders. £10.00 if more than one tree.
To take advantage of a promotional code or gift voucher this must be entered into the redeem code box at the checkout. Discounts cannot be given once an order is completed and any codes have not been used.

I have had my tree for a very few years but because I put it in a root control bag it fruited prolifically at an early age. Fabulous crops over a long period in summer. The saddest thing is that I had to move it to do some building and couldn't save it.

Purchased 2016. Arrived dormant, took awhile to bud, healthy looking leaves last summer, slow growing.

Bought this a couple of months back and have waited for signs of life. It has recently burst into leaf so seems to be doing well. Thank you.

I am really looking forward to getting a crop of these fabulous fruits, we were supposed to start getting them a few years back, but we had the tree in a 60l pot which it wasn't too happy in, then our dog decided it was delicious so ate it down to 1m (it was 1.5 at the time!) in height so we had to wait for it to grow again! last year we had 2 berries but the birds beat me to them

Thank you for your delivery, I was impressed with the products and would like to mention in particular the careful and intelligent packing, which ensured that trees, shrubs, stakes and smaller plants arrived safely and in excellent condition. The bare rooted plants were carefully wrapped so did not dry out even though I was not able to plant immediately. Thank you !
