Control of peach leaf curl is essential. Peach leaf curl is a fungal disease, which, if left untreated, puts trees under severe stress due to the excessive leaf loss.
Bare Root = Field grown trees that have been freshly lifted and supplied with no soil around the roots. Only available during the dormant period November-April
10 Litre = Container grown and can be planted all year round. The size refers to the number of litres of compost that the container holds.
1 Year Maiden = A one year old tree and the size depends on the variety but in general they will be 125cm in height and will have some side branches.
2 Year Bush = A two year old tree that has been pruned back in the first winter to form a bush shape. Generally trees will be 150-175cm in height with multiple side branches.
Collection - If you would like to collect your trees then use this option. Note the collection is from the Wholesale Nursery office between Monday-Friday only. Please allow 1 working days for your order to be processed prior to collection date.
We are not a Garden Centre or retail Nursery. Orders can be placed via our website and the collection option can be selected at the checkout. Your order will then be ready for you to collect during our normal opening hours which are Monday-Friday 07.30-16.30. Our plants are grown in fields that can be 2 miles away from our office so it is not possible to just turn up and select your own trees.
Delivery Charges - The delivery charge is worked out from the weight and the size of the plant. We have several rates that apply to UK mainland addresses. A delivery charge of £8.50 is for all single tree orders. £10.00 if more than one tree except in the case of the Espalier and Fan trained trees where this charge is a maximum of £40.00.
To take advantage of a promotional code or gift voucher this must be entered into the redeem code box at the checkout. Discounts cannot be given once an order is completed and any codes have not been used.
Peach Fruit Trees | Genus Prunus | Prunus persica
Peach Avalon Pride fruit trees - “as featured on Gardener's World”, this outstanding new variety represents the biggest advancement in peach breeding for many years as it has very high resistance to damaging leaf curl disease. So far all trees grown on our nursery have been completely disease free. Trees are self fertile with pretty pink flowers and bear delicious juicy large fruits from early August. They are grown on Montclare rootstock, which is highly productive with medium vigour. It also makes trees less susceptible to frost damage, making the difference between peaches and nectarines being marginal in the U.K. and being really successful. Yellow flesh with a prominent red blush on the skin.

I purchased this tree 9 years ago, it was a beautiful specimen. It grew vigorously and flowered very early so I had to hand pollinate with a small brush but it refused to set fruit until last year when it finally produced about a dozen juicy fruits. I was going to dig it up as it was unproductive but it has a stay of execution to see if it fruits this year.

I ordered three Avalon Pride Peach trees on Montclare rootstock, all arrived safe and without any damage. The packaging was very sturdy, with extra bamboo's inside the boxes to protect the tree structure and branches. The trees themselves are really healthy looking, with a few side branches, no doubt once established they will be growing quickly. looking forward to harvesting loads of peaches in the coming years. Overall outstanding service from onset to delivery. Highly recommend this company.

Arrived quickly and was packaged extremely well. The tree was in flower and has already set fruit. Having grown peach trees for thirty years, this is the best tree for health and quality of shape I have ever seen. Dear Sirs, I purchased a fan trained peach - Avalon Pride from you three years ago and it has been a great success with no peach leaf curl ever!! I spray twice in the early spring before bud-burst and unlike other peach trees I have grown there has never been any peach leaf curl at all. It fruits wonderfully, this year in excess of 30 good fruits

This is a great Peach Tree with extremely flavoursome juicy sweet fruits. I have 2 now . Although they do get a small amount of leaf curl it is easily controlled by removing and burning the affected leaves.

Thanks for the great customer service you provided. My mother in law loves her Peach Tree.

I have three of these, and they are almost completely untouched by leaf curl every year. Grow happily in West Yorkshire in my experience. Lovely peaches - sometimes split, so keep an eye on them ripening.
